GOING PLACES (DOING STUFF) PART II, “BEST SUMMER EVER”
Get your tickets now! The second season of “Going Places, Doing Stuff,” artist-led road trips that are organized by the Flux Factory, begins this weekend. The drill: you sign up for a tour, board a bus — in this case, a vegetable oil-powered school bus — with a few dozen fellow adventurers, and are taken somewhere, where you do something, none of which is revealed to you beforehand. (Past adventures have included going to a blueberry farm, an old mining town, and a novelty diner that’s home to a 50-pound burger.) It’s that simple, mysterious and awesome, and it’s sure to sell out.
